On point! Qualification success for Hampshire Aesthetics Laser & Skin Clinic

We are celebrating success after achieving the industry’s most prestigious qualification.

Finola Sines of Hampshire Aesthetics Laser & Skin Clinic, has achieved the Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice, the first and so far only aesthetic qualification accredited by the UK government’s education regulator, Ofqual.

Aesthetic treatments have boomed in popularity in recent years, particularly botulinum toxin (Botox) and dermal fillers. However, there have been concerns in the media and in parliament about standards in the industry and the level of training.

And in July 2021, the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Beauty, Aesthetics and Wellbeing (APPG) concluded its enquiry into the industry by recommending that all aesthetic practitioners hold a regulated qualification.

Finola said, ‘It’s a huge honour to achieve the Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice. The qualification is the first to be recognised by the UK government and shows to the public that there are many of us in the industry dedicated to high standards, quality training and professionalism. It also means that I am able to demonstrate my competence and skills to members of the public who are interested in aesthetic treatments but may have entirely justified concerns’.
