Pico Laser Tattoo Removal
Introducing the Pico laser tattoo removal which is considered the gold standard in laser tattoo removal in the world. Using the Pico laser we can remove tattoos up to 3 x faster than traditional cheaper Nd Yag lasers found in many tattoo laser salons and clinics. A picosecond laser is the first of a new generation of aesthetic lasers that don’t rely solely on heat to burn or melt away unwanted tattoo ink or melanin, the pigment that causes dark spots in your skin. Picosecond laser technology can be used to treat multicoloured tattoos on different skin types. Unlike traditional lasers, it delivers super-short pulses of energy measured in picoseconds to the targeted ink.
Treatment procedure
Tattoos can be removed in a single treatment, although complete removal may require additional treatments.

- Skin is constantly monitored to keep it cool and comfortable throughout procedure
No damage occurs to skin surrounding tattoo and therefore it is safer with fewer side effects. Please note that some patients may experience temporary skin reddening or discolouration around the treatment site or a temporary lightening of the skin in the area. These symptoms typically resolve and the skin returns to a normal tone.
Will it hurt?
There is only minimal discomfort during the removal process and for those Patients that have sensitive skin or feel they may experience discomfort find relief from a topical anaesthetic applied 30-60 minutes before the treatment session.
When will I see results?
Your tattoos can be removed in a single treatment, although oftentimes require more for complete removal. Please note it is not possible to fully erase your tattoo but the Pico Laser will significantly diminish the appearance of your tattoo and once healed you can tattoo in the same location.
